As the official banking partner of Expo 2020, Emirates NBD rolled out a customized Expo 2020 Dubai business banking package for UAE-based small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and startups.
In collaboration with Sustainable Square, a boutique advisory firm specialized in responsible investment, sustainability and social impact, we published a study that sheds light on the practices of sustainability and corporate responsibility in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The study gathered valuable insights and information from 638 organisations across 18 MENA.
The heart of our sustainability agenda is being an ethical bank and interacting responsibly with all our stakeholders. Sustainable practices extend far beyond environmental concerns. In this respect, our ethics extend to our transparency, how we honour commitments, acting in fair and nondiscriminatory ways, communicating and being accountable.

Being a signatory of the United Nations Environment Programme's Dubai Declaration for Sustainable Finance, we take our mission very seriously to reduce our impact on climate change. We do so by calculating our annual carbon footprint, identifying areas in which we can improve, and creating both internal and community initiatives that aim to reduce negative impact.
