What is a 0% Installment Payment Plan and how does it work?
A 0% Installment Payment Plan allows you to convert your Credit Card purchases made at any of our participating partnered merchants into convenient monthly installments at no interest. Once your transaction is converted into a 0% IPP the total purchase amount will be split into Equated Monthly Installments (EMI) by dividing the total purchase amount by the installment plan term. The EMI Amount will be billed to you from your next statement and thereafter until the total purchase amount is covered in full.
Please note that the total purchase amount will still be a part of your credit card outstanding amount and will be reduced after the payment of each EMI until the installment term is completed.
Convert a transaction into a 0% Installment Payment Plan
You can convert a transaction at the merchant point of sale during your time of purchase or use our Mobile and Online Banking channels to convert your transaction into a 0% Installment Payment Plan. Only the primary cardholder will be able to apply for 0% Installment Payment Plans.
Convert your transaction through Mobile Banking:
- Once logged in to the Emirates NBD Mobile Banking app, click on the menu icon on the top left of the screen.
- Click on Credit Cards and select your card.
- Click on Installment Payment Plans and select the transaction you want to convert.
- Confirm the application details and click on Continue.
- Your transaction will be converted to installments instantly.
Convert your transaction through Online Banking:
- Login to Online Banking and click on My Finances.
- Navigate to the Cards listing page and select your credit card by clicking on Card Details.
- Under Additional Services and Requests click on Installment Payment Plan.
- Select the transaction you want to convert and click on Convert to Installment Payment Plan.
- Confirm the application details and click on Continue.
- Your transaction will be converted to installments instantly.

Statement minimum due is calculated once a transaction is converted into 0% Installment Payment Plan
Once a transaction is converted, your next statement’s minimum due will be the sum of the 0% IPP monthly installment(s) plus all other outstanding transactions multiplied by the minimum required payment percentage determined by Emirates NBD, plus any excess amount over the credit limit and all past dues (if any).

0% Installment Payment Plan Processing Fees
Processing fees are applicable when converting a transaction into 0% IPP and you will be notified about these charges during the time of application.

Reward Points/Miles for transactions converted into 0% Installment Payment Plans.
Once a transaction is converted into 0% IPP you will forfeit any reward points earned for that particular transaction.
Please note that the below credit cards will still earn reward points/miles even if a transaction is converted to 0% IPP.

Cancel your 0% Installment Payment Plan
Once a transaction is converted into 0% IPP you will not be able to make any changes to plan. However, you will be able to cancel/foreclose the plan. Foreclosure fees will be applicable and determined by the bank during cancellation.
