Authorized Caller Terms

The following terms and condition will be applicable in relation to any request of adding an authorized caller to your bank account for Phone Banking service.

By clicking on the link of the terms & conditions sent to your registered mobile number, you confirm that you have read, fully understood, and accept the below terms & conditions, and that you are authorizing a representative to register his/her mobile number for your account. Please contact the Phone Banking or your Relationship Manager, if you have any query or the below terms are not acceptable.

• The Customer understands that one or more individuals can be authorized by the Customer to access the Phone Banking service on the Customer’s behalf (“Authorized Caller”).
• The Registration/Deregistration of Authorized Caller can be done by calling the Phone Banking service number at 600540009.
• As part of Registration/Deregistration via Phone Banking, an authentication code (OTP) shall be sent to the mobile number that is tagged as the preferred phone type in the Bank’s records at the time of opening the account. The Customer understands that it is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure this mobile number is accessible to the Customer only.
• The Customer understands that the Bank shall have the absolute right to exercise its discretion in providing or withholding any information from the Authorized Caller.
• The Customer understands that the Bank takes no responsibility for the information divulged to the Authorized Caller and the Customer fully and expressly waives and discharges the Bank from all liability and claims arising in this regard.
• The Customer agrees and authorizes the Bank to act upon the verbal instructions of the Authorized Caller. The Customer authorizes the Bank to record the call of the Authorized Caller and use the same as evidence before the competent courts.
• The Customer will not hold the Bank liable for any loss or consequential damages caused to the Customer by virtue of the Bank acting on the instructions of the Authorized Caller.
• The Terms and Conditions of the mandate shall be governed by and construed in accordance with UAE laws, and the Customer irrevocably submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the civil courts of Dubai.
• The Customer confirms that the Customer has read and understood the Terms and Conditions detailed above and the Customer confirms acceptance of all Terms and Conditions governing this service.
